Tamil Nadu Common Entrance Test (TANCET) is a state level entrance examination which is conducted by Anna University on behalf of the Government of Tamil Nadu. TANCET is required to take admission to MBA, MCA, M.E, M.Tech, M.Plan and M.Arch degree offered by colleges in Tamilnadu.

Offline Registrations:
Candidate can apply for TANCET 2016 by visiting at the co-ordinating centres along with the required documents.
Application fees detail
TANCET 2016 fee is Rs. 500/- for general students and Rs. 250/- for SC/SCA/ST candidates belonging to Tamilnadu.

No, the answers should be marked with a black ball point pen only. Use of pencil will not be evaluated.
Yes, you can apply for more than one programme through a single TANCET exam. However, you need to pay Rs. 500/- (Rs. 250/- for SC/SCA/ST candidates belonging to Tamilnad) for each additional programme.
(Note: A single demand draft would be enough for one or more programmes.)
Yes, candidates belonging to other states can also apply for TANCET 2016. However, the eligibility criteria will be specified by the admitting authority / University.
