Maharashtra state government has decided to bring some changes in MHT CET 2023 syllabus from this year. To help candidates prepare for both state and national level entrance exam and to match the standard of JEE, the authorities have decided to raise the standard of MHT CET 2023. Syllabus of MH CET 2023 is expected to cover class XI and class XII syllabus instead of just class 12th syllabus.
The MHT CET usually consists of three question papers. Each paper is of 100 marks and is 1.5 hours long.
• Paper I: Physics & Chemistry (50 marks each)
• Paper II: Biology (Botany & Zoology - 50 marks each)
• Paper III: Mathematics (100 Marks)
All questions need to be answered. Answers are to be marked in an OMR sheet with a black ball point pen only. There is no negative marking. For Engineering/Technology degree courses one should appear for Paper I and Paper III and for applying for a Pharmacy degree course one should appear for Paper-I & Paper-II and/or Paper-III. The syllabus for the Physics, Chemistry, Biology and Mathematics papers for the MHT-CET will be the same as for the HSC Examination of HSC Boards of Maharashtra for that particular year.
