Admission to the undergraduate and postgraduate programmes offered by the University is done on the basis of merit in entrance examinations conducted by the university for each field of study as well as other national entrance exams like JEE Main & Advanced.

Alliance University offers doctoral programmes in the fields of management and law. For admission to Ph.D. in Management and Ph.D. in Law, the interested candidates must have obtained a master’s degree with minimum qualifying marks and must have appeared in respective management and law aptitude tests. Admissions to both the doctoral programmes are done on the basis of merit in the aptitude test, personal interview and other selection criteria as mentioned below. The eligible and interested candidates can download the application form from the official website of the university or can obtain the application form and prospectus from the Office of Admissions on payment of Rs. 3000 in cash or through demand draft drawn in favour of “ALLIANCE UNIVERSITY” payable at Bangalore. The application forms for Ph.D. admissions cannot be submitted online.

The university offers admissions to postgraduate programmes in the fields of business, engineering & design and law. The postgraduate programmes offered by the university are MBA, PGDM, Executive PGDM, M.Com. and LL.M. The candidates interested in taking admission in postgraduate programmes offered by the university must have score a bachelor’s degree with minimum qualifying marks in the relevant discipline and also must have appeared for one of the national/ state level management entrance exams. Admission to the postgraduate programme offered by the university is done on the basis of marks scored in AMAT, followed by other methods of selection including essay writing, oral extempore presentation and personal interview. For admission to postgraduate programmes offered by the university, the candidates need to fill the application form either online or through the offline mode. The application fee for each programme is Rs. 1000.
