Alliance University was established in the year 2010 in the state of Karnataka. It is one of the biggest institutions in India in terms of its quality and courses on offer. Alliance University’s green campus is located on the Chandapura-Anekal main road, in the Anekal taluk of Bangalore. All modern day facilities are offered at the institution. The Centers for Industry Interaction at the University facilitates interaction between the corporate/industrial sector and students through management lessons, interactive sessions etc. Practical Workshops and Training are conducted on a regular basis. The Centers for Excellence focus on a student’s holistic development, enhancing skills like awareness skills, grooming skills, business etiquette etc. To understand real life settings, case studies are designed and presented.
In order to make students understand different mindsets, cultures and work styles, Alliance University has collaborated with a number of universities across the globe like University of Central Florida, USA, Royal Roads University, Canada, Paris School of Business, France, Beijing Institute of Technology, China amongst others. Recognising the global call for awareness and importance of international perspective, the university offers a number of International Programmes as well.
Apart from academics, the university gives equal importance to sports and extra-curricular activities too. Cultural activities like dancing, singing, theatre, cultural fests etc are conducted on a daily basis. It has sports and adventure club activities that aim to instil both physical fitness and qualities like leadership, sportsman spirit, team work, courage etc within students.
Admission to the undergraduate and postgraduate programmes offered by the University is done on the basis of merit in entrance examinations conducted by the university for each field of study as well as other national entrance exams like JEE Main & Advanced.
The application process for admission to undergraduate, postgraduate and doctoral programmes offered by Alliance University is available online as well as offline for most of the programmes except for Ph.D. programmes where the provision to fill online application forms is not available.

Alliance University offers doctoral programmes in the fields of management and law. For admission to Ph.D. in Management and Ph.D. in Law, the interested candidates must have obtained a master’s degree with minimum qualifying marks and must have appeared in respective management and law aptitude tests. Admissions to both the doctoral programmes are done on the basis of merit in the aptitude test, personal interview and other selection criteria as mentioned below. The eligible and interested candidates can download the application form from the official website of the university or can obtain the application form and prospectus from the Office of Admissions on payment of Rs. 3000 in cash or through demand draft drawn in favour of “ALLIANCE UNIVERSITY” payable at Bangalore. The application forms for Ph.D. admissions cannot be submitted online.

The university offers admissions to postgraduate programmes in the fields of business, engineering & design and law. The postgraduate programmes offered by the university are MBA, PGDM, Executive PGDM, M.Com. and LL.M. The candidates interested in taking admission in postgraduate programmes offered by the university must have score a bachelor’s degree with minimum qualifying marks in the relevant discipline and also must have appeared for one of the national/ state level management entrance exams. Admission to the postgraduate programme offered by the university is done on the basis of marks scored in AMAT, followed by other methods of selection including essay writing, oral extempore presentation and personal interview. For admission to postgraduate programmes offered by the university, the candidates need to fill the application form either online or through the offline mode. The application fee for each programme is Rs. 1000.
