Private University Estd. 1952 NIRF #1 (Medical) 2024Established under the Government of Chattisgarh, with an objective to disseminate knowledge and learning of law and to promote reseach providing quality education, Hidayatullah National Law University has stood out among other colleges/universities in its field of study. The college has been able to develop the sense of responsibilty to the serve the society and prepare & train the future lawyers with high moral and ethical values.
The campus land has been allotted to the university by the Government of Chattisgarh resulting in a beautifully built campus with lush green scenery around to enhance the learning of the students. The new campus boasts of the well maintained and well made infrastructure that attracts many students across from all the parts of India. Not just academically, the university has maintained itself culturally.
The university provides undergraduate, post graduate and research programmes under law studies. The airy and spacious classrooms, library, moot courts and overall structure helps boosting up the learning experience of the students. The well read and distinguisehd faculty imbibes the best of their knowledge maintaining industry standards; giving students an outlook of what and how the real world really looks like.

(ii) Any Masters Degree in Law with 55% marks obtained from any of the Universities outside India and that has been so recognized by the Indian Association of Universities, New Delhi. (iii) For applicants belonging to SC/ST category a relaxation of 5% in marks shall be admissible under eligibility conditions prescribed under sub-clauses 1(i) and (ii). | - |

Infrastructures
The university has well maintained infrastructure with all modern facilities.The new campus is built over 65 acres (260,000 m2) of land located beside a lake and in a serene and pollution free environment. The circular academic and administrative building has been built on the design of the Parliament of India. The academic block consists of a three-storied library with an air conditioned reading hall and an air-conditioned computer lab equipped with 200 computers. The academic block also houses the Moot Court Halls designed to match the standards of the Supreme Court of India and the High Courts. The campus is Wi-Fi enabled. There are 21 air-conditioned classrooms fitted with modern teaching aids and equipment.
Classroom
Language labs - It facilitate a broad range of activities that involve students in reading, writing, listening, and speaking the target language.
Laboratory
HNLU has a fully air conditioned Computer Lab with sufficiently large number of Desktop Computers with Internet connectivity. All the legal databases are made available to the students of HNLU through CD-ROMs and subscription to Web based databases like Manupatra and Westlaw International.
Library
The library of the HNLU is considered as a laboratory of a scientific institute, where the apparatus for the law students are the classic law books, case law reports and journals that are available in full sets.
