Gujarat National Law University (GNLU)Β is one of the premier law schools in India that was established under the Gujarat National Law University Act, 2003. It became fully functional in the year 2004. The Gujarat National Law University is recognized by the Bar Council of India (BCI) and University Grants Commission (UGC). The university believes in more of practical training of the students by conducting regular in-house moot court competitions and much more. The college faculty and the academic sessions here are considered to be par excellence. It strives for an all round academics excellence and become one of the best law universities.Β 

The college provides quality education with highly experienced faculty members.Β  The college offers both undergraduate & post graduate level degree programmes. Bachelor of Law (5 year) 3

The candidate should have passed clearance of HSC/Intermediate Examination (10+2) or its equivalent examination with not less than 50% marks in aggregate (45% in case of SC/ST and Persons with Disability). Selection will be based on CLAT merit.

Master of Law 3

The candidate should have passed LL.B. degree/equivalent from a recognized University, with at least 55% or more marks for General category and 50% marks for reserved categories. Candidate appearing in the qualifying examination, such as LLB, can appear provisionally, subject to the production of necessary qualification papers before or at the counseling session.

Doctor of Philosophy (Law) -

The candidate should have passed master degree in Law from a recognized university.

B.A. LLB (Hons.) 5 Years -

Successful clearance of HSC/lntermediate Examination (10+2) or its equivalent examination with not less than 45% marks in aggregate (40% in case of SC/ST)
Candidate appearing in the qualifying examination can appear provisionally, subject to the production of necessary qualification papers before or at the time of admission.

B.Com. LLB (Hons.) 5Years -

The candidate should have passed clearance of HSC/Intermediate Examination (10+2) or its equivalent examination with not less than 50% marks in aggregate (45% in case of SC/ST and Persons with Disability). Selection will be based on CLAT merit.

BBA LLB (Hons.) 5 Years -

The candidate should have passed clearance of HSC/Intermediate Examination (10+2) or its equivalent examination with not less than 50% marks in aggregate (45% in case of SC/ST and Persons with Disability). Selection will be based on CLAT merit.

B.Sc. LLB (Hons.) 5Years -

The candidate should have passed clearance of HSC/Intermediate Examination (10+2) or its equivalent examination with not less than 50% marks in aggregate (45% in case of SC/ST and Persons with Disability). Selection will be based on CLAT merit.

BSW LLB (Hons.) 5Years -

The candidate should have passed clearance of HSC/Intermediate Examination (10+2) or its equivalent examination with not less than 50% marks in aggregate (45% in case of SC/ST and Persons with Disability). Selection will be based on CLAT merit.

MBA in Financial Management and Business Law -

Aspirants must have a Bachelor's Degree with aggregate 50% marks awarded by any of the recognized University icorporated by incorporated by an act of the central or state legislature in India or other Educational institutions established by an act of Parliament or declared to be deemed as a University under Section 3 of the UGC Act, 1956, or possess an equivalent qualification recognized by the Ministry of HRD, Government of India.

MA Public Policy, Law and Governance -

The candidate must hold a Bachelor's Degree, with at least 50% marks or equivalent CGPA (45% in case of the candidates belonging to Scheduled Caste (SC), Scheduled Tribe (ST) category) awarded by any of the recognized Universities.

MA in Criminology -

The candidate must hold a Bachelor's Degree, with at least 50% marks or equivalent CGPA (45% in case of the candidates belonging to Scheduled Caste (SC), Scheduled Tribe (ST) category) awarded by any of the recognized Universities.

Post Graduate Diploma in Alternative Dispute Resolution -

The candidate must hold a Bachelor's Degree, with at least 50% marks or equivalent CGPA (45% in case of the candidates belonging to Scheduled Caste (SC), Scheduled Tribe (ST) category) awarded by any of the recognized Universities.

Placement

The college provides internship program on periodical basis.The purpose of the internship program is to provide a planned transition from the University curriculum to a personal and professional setting in a students’ area of interest.Β

The college’s infrastructure is well furnished with all modern facilities.

Classroom

Class rooms are properly furnished with state-of-the art equipments which are well equipped with educational audio-visual systems, LCD projectors & Network connection for providing a conducive atmosphere for learning. The classrooms are also spacious, well lighted & well ventilated.

GNLU, our esteemed school of legal learning, has been able to aggregate together a rich library including a variegated slew of titles in a short span of time. The Library now boasts of a compendium of 9000 volumes of journals and knowledgeable tomes.
