Indus International University

Indus International University (IIU) is the only University in District Una, Himachal Pradesh. It is recognized and approved by University Grants Commission (UGC) and is complied with all the requirements of UGC. It is also an active member of Association of Indian Universities (AIU).

The University was established with the aim of providing higher education and research opportunities in under-represented areas which have not been served by the traditional public universities.The university is approved by UGC. Indus International University is established under the Establishment and Regulation Act, 2009. of Himachal Pradesh Government with the right to confer degree as per the sections of the UGC Act, 1956. It is a non-profit institution with its primary objective of providing access to educational opportunities in higher education areas, especially in rural areas.

The university has the vision to be recognised nationally and internationally as a global leader. The mission of the University is to provide high quality, undergraduate and postgraduate education to its students and become leaders in their prospective fields.
