Zakir Hussain Delhi College, New Delhi is a constituent part of the University of Delhi. Apart from offering courses at undergraduate level in the streams of Arts, Commerce, Sciences, the college also offers a number of courses in language at undergraduate degree level. It is an institute of influence over Urdu and Islamic learning in India. At present, it is the only college of DU, offering BA (Hons) in Arabic and Persian. The College was established by a general of Mughal Emperor Aurangzeb. It is the oldest existing college in Delhi. It went through many phases of time right from the Mughal to the British.

Placement

The placement cell provides an interface between students and the corporate. Apart from that, the students are eligible for placements at the Campus Placement Cell (CPC) at the North Campus of the Delhi University.

The College has a spacious and a well-stocked library possessing about 1,11,500 books. It runs an open shelf system but some important textbooks are also kept in the reserve section. Good college with good facilities

Easily accessible campus. Public transport is easily available. Clean and safe surrounding. No hostels. Classrooms and labs are well updated with latest technology. Library has all kinds of books. Playground is huge. Students are from different backgrounds and cultures. Fest is organised every year. Placements are good. Teachers are great. They are always available for all the students. They are helpful and supportive.

It's a great experience to be part of this educational institution because of following points. Well built infrastructure. Lush green campus. Very supportive faculties. The college has a legacy of 300 years. The curriculum focuses on all round development of students rather than just focusing on academics.

SUBMITTING REVIEWS FOR DIFFERENT COLLEGES My college on an overall basis is good, it has great faculty members, they try to deliver what they have with all determination and keep on motivating us, on the other hand, the seniors are very partial, if we want to participate in anything they select students without auditions and even there is no unity in students.

zakir hussain delhi college is an one of the offcampus college of delhi about 850 meters away from new delhi metro station(railway station also}.you can get there easily within 5 minute of walk an now one new delhi gate metro station also open about 1 km away from college, getting there is very easy now, if you are thinking about getting admission in this college this review is for you. 1 yr back when i take addmission in this college its quit good with an average ground size, basketball court but now due to some construction ground an basket ball court is taken away from us,as they are building a building over there so you have to think twice before taking admission if you like to play and sit under sun in winters. now there is only one spot where you can go in your free time canteen which in now and you know the reasone is too much crowded all the time. as study point of view teacher are very good but the administration is very strict there are some rule like you cannot use earphone you cannot sit on desk in gallery or anywhere in the college in your free time. apart from that college is quite ok location is very good about 2.5 km from c p and there are many historical places to visit near college . and one more thing construction gonna take around 3 yrs

All teachers and staff are helpful, knowledgeable and their methodology is also fine. The surroundings of the college is also good. Infrastructure is also good. Sports facilities are provided with proper equipments. Library is well-stocked and canteen serves healthy and tasty food. Crowd is good and the college holds many extracurricular activities along with many events throughout the year. Placement record is fine here. And salary offered is also decent.
