The University College of Medical Sciences (UCMS) was established in 1971 as a Constituent College of University of Delhi. It imparts various medical and paramedical courses. Infrastructures
The college has Air-conditioned classrooms, reading and syndicate rooms equipped with modern multi-media and audio/video systems to facilitate effective learning. State-of-the-art auditorium, multiple conference and seminar halls with ultra-modern technologies including a video-conferencing set-up.

Institute has 3 lecture halls with a seating capacity of 180 each and provided with a side room and a projection room.

Institute has well equipped labs with all modern facilities.
Library
The UCMS library system consist of a Central Library and 17 Departmental Libraries, which collectively support the teaching, research and extension programmes of the college. The Central Library is well equipped with modern facilities and resources in the form of books, journals, back volume of journals, theses, WHO publications, CD ROMs and internet services.
