It is a good place, not like other colleges in MU

Well, except of the long lines we wait in at the Elevator, this could be the coolest place you will ever be at. All teachers and HOD's are so great. Not much pressure on attending lectures regularly and assignment dates & submissions are also very convenient. You get enough time to do what ever you want to do, like for preparation of competitions such as GATE or GRE or if you have some extracurricular activities to do. Overall I've enjoyed all these years here and i going to miss this place after graduation. Must recommend for those who want a chill life and also ready to learn by themselves (some teachers are below average too).

Good teaching, no worries about attendance but small campus area

Good teaching, no worry about attendance but small campus area. Many companies visit Thadomal Shahani Engineering College and recruit students with minimum package of 3.5 L per year. Teachers are kind enough to speak while some are not. Good atmosphere and lab with WiFi available.

Over 50 companies come for placements

The college does not have a good infrastructure and the campus is also not good. The faculty is good and are very polite and makes the students work hard. The college is lenient about attendance, it must be at least 50%. There is a huge Central Library for the students and a nice canteen.

About TSEC and life of students in TSEC

TSEC has been the best engineering college so far in terms of festivals and academics. One of the important points about TSEC includes it's diverse nature to allow students excel in their choice of fields be it cultural, technical, social service or anything else. Letting seniors coordinate with juniors have been a boon for the college. TSEC has lead to an overall development of the student enrolled there.

Thadomal Shahani Engineering College, the place to be in!

TSEC is a reputed college both in terms of academics and extra curricular. TSEC is known for its extra curricular activities. The festivals organised give a good exposure to the students. Its situated in prime location of Bandra with many places around to hang out with friends. The faculty is decent enough and helpful.
