Infrastructures

The campus of the institute has amenities like a Co-operative stores, Dispensary, Bank, Canteen, Staff Quarters, Hostels, Gymnasium, Sports Complex. There is a Optical Fiber Based campus wide Network with nearly 1400 nodes covering every laboratory, hostel rooms, guest house and family residents.The Institute’s power supply comes from 33 KVA electricity supply substation.The World Bank Funded Advanced Technology Center caters to the needs of latest technology based R&D activities including Language Lab. And Multimedia Center.

Laboratory

The laboratories in all the various departments have been modernized with an aid of approx. Rs3.0 cores from Govt. of India and World Bank. The Institute is involved in Continuing Education Programme and also provides Testing and Consultancy services. The Institute has successfully completed a large number of sponsored Research Projects.

Library

The Central Library a small collection of 429 books. Currently it earns the status of the biggest college library in central India in the field of technology and science education. It is full flagged with good quality of high cost standard reference and text - books, world reputed International and National research journals, theses, project reports, audio/visual and electronic learning resources in all disciplines of technical education. SGSITS REVIEW

It is one of the reputed colleges of MP. It is located in Indore, established in 1952. The college accepts JEE rank. The college offers good placements to the students. Library has all kinds of books and study material. Newly built ATC building is equipped with smart classes and labs with necessary instruments. Sports complex, auditorium and gym is also there. Canteen provides tasty food. There are separate hostels for boys and girls. Extracurricular activities are encouraged. Fest is organised every year. Students are friendly. Ragging free campus.

Message for ME(CSE) who are going to take admission in this college.

‘Just two more, two more minutes and if all your little bums doesn’t settle in these chairs, I swear on the name of Jesus, I won’t let you people have a proper supper,’ John yelled on the top of his lungs. The chairs began to fill with young kids in seconds, save one. The chair with the broken backrest on the extreme right stayed empty. ‘May the stars fill his stomach, everyone sing the prayer and begin,’ John said the last time before he began to eat. Upstairs, a new world was blooming in the eyes of a short, thin, 10 year old young boy. The over sized hanging shirt was barely tucked inside his pants. A night bug rested on his left shoulder, but the boy stared the sky in oblivion. Visions of past filled his mind, dreams of the future consumed his heart, yet his eyes glistened with the realities of the present. His stomach rumbled, but the boy, too busy with the shimmering stars hardly gave attention to his bodily requirements. The daydreamer couldn’t take his eyes off the night sky filled with stars. Thoughts ran down his busy brain like falling droplets of rain, without a pause and all at once. It wasn’t new; the boy would lean on the boundary wall and expect to witness a shooting star, the sky would now and then fulfill the hopes of his tiny eyes. Tonight was no different; he stood there and patiently waited for a star to fall, for a wish to be made. ‘Champ you know what? All those who die find peace among the stars,’ Mrs. Sharma said. ‘My mum told me once, and if sometimes, like sometimes when I’m really lucky I can even see her face up there, all lit with the light of the stars!’ She concluded. It was the words of his mother that have given him the strength and the patience to stand through the tedious hours. Beginning to prepare his mind to finally go downstairs and sneak some food from the kitchen the boy finally noticed the sky responding to his hopes with a shooting star. The tiny heart in his chest thumped a little harder. In the likely split of a second, he brought his clasped hands to cover his little mouth, closed his eyes and stood straight and instantly murmured a wish. Tonight, as always, the boy longed to see his dead father’s glimpse in the scattered stars. Tonight, as always, the shooting star failed to fulfill the wish of a faithful devotee. Disappointed, he stood there and decided to go down and smuggle something to eat. He tip-toed his way to the kitchen and could successfully slip away with two chapattis to his room. He climbed to his double storied bed. With the first bite invading his taste buds, the boy realized how hungry he has been. He finished his chapattis with quick bites and surrendered to the coziness of his bed. With minutes into his sleep, a nightmare abruptly woke him up. He traced his way back to sleep but in vain. He just lay on his bed, staring at the distant wall hoping to fall asleep, but his wandering mind couldn’t find any peace. He wished not to be in this orphanage among the bullies, within these hollow walls. But where else could he be? After his father’s death when he was four years of age, his mother decided to find love in one of her colleagues at the school she worked in. Mrs. Sharma had to abandon her son after her newlywed husband could no longer seem to accept his presence in the house.

Best in MP

This is the college in the state. The college provides the students with all the modern facilities; be it nicely equipped laboratories and libraries or the beautiful infrastructure that the college has. The teaching faculty is one notable factor which should be taken into account when one is seeking admission in any college and to be true, the teachers here are highly experienced and really helpful. The crowd is also good and there is lot of scope for the students to learn a lot of things.

Sgsits is an old and certified government college in Indore in mp and it is best autonomous government engineering colleges in all over the mp and in india ...........it established after 5 year from the time of freedom in 1952.......it merit list is declare from mp counselling admission from the marks of jee mains and 12th agreement.....
