The School of Chemical Engineering has excellent infrastructure in terms of general requirements and state of the art lab equipment in the laboratories in particular. The school is equipped with a HT power line and in case of power cut there is a generator of 440KV.

Classroom

All the classrooms of the department are well furnished with all modern facilities.

Laboratory

The school has Analytical & Physical Chemistry Lab, Organic Chemistry Lab, Fluid Mechanics for Chemical Engineering Lab, Chemical Technology Lab, Mechanical Unit Operations Lab, Mass Transfer Operations Lab, Chemical Reaction Engineering Lab, Process Heat Transfer Lab, Process Dynamics & Control Lab etc. A dedicated 2 MBPS wireless Internet connection is installed to meet the growing needs of staff and students to pursue their research. All the systems on the campus are wired to file servers.

Library

The library has more than 40,000 volumes, plenty of audio- visual materials & about 200 national & international journals, is indeed a rich repository of knowledge facilitating prospects for future research. The Library building is completely air-conditioned with a seating capacity of about 600 students. A separate enclave is provided for research students.
