School of Biotechnology, KIIT University is a university campus. It offers Postgraduate courses in Biotechnology, Applied Microbiology and dual degree courses. Biotechnology has the unique ability of giving answers to several problems plaguing the human mankind with the incorporation of several basic sciences and technical knowledge to emerge as one of mega sciences in today’s world. Allowing the knowledge of this field to trickle into the common masses for their advantage is one of the main endeavors, which are the basis for science and society programmes (malaria control, waste management, and biofertilizer formulations) with the support of KIIT University.

The place which is an education hub for the efficient learners

So here goes the review for my experience about my college, the place where I am enrolled for my Masters in Biotechnology. At first, I am really glad about the fact that I got this chance through the All India exam conducted by KIIT and got the opportunity for the first round of counselling and bagged an admission to an accredited college according to NAAC. The expectations were set high as can be guessed by anybody from the name of the university.This university has gained a lot of popularity over the recent years for its outstanding placement opportunity it provides to the students. Okay, so my first-day experience was really good. My parents and I were allowed to sit in the auditorium that is pretty huge one and then after the welcoming session we were brought to the hostel which is a 4 storey building situated on campus 11. After our lunch, we were asked to be ready for the university tour. Such a big university it is with huge college buildings and playground for the students. On the next day was our beginning of the master's classes sessions. Such an educated faculty we came across with most of them having their post-doc degrees from very reputed universities of India as well as abroad. The high-class laboratories for every subject segment of biotechnology with high-class equipment were the main attraction of the college. It is a blessing that I had got to be a part of this beautiful and wonderful college that I got involved with. The study courses were the top standard that set our goal high and the teaching of faculty help to get us motivated for our future. With this, I completed my 1 and half years stay at KIIT. My final year examination is at the doorstep. I will miss my college a lot.
