| Bachelor of Technology (Biotechnology) | - | The minimum academic qualification for admission through AIEEE 2010 is a pass in the final examination of 10+2 (Class XII) or its equivalent referred to as the qualifying examination. Those appearing in 10+2 (Class XII) final or equivalent examination may also appear in AIEEE 2010 for consideration of provisional admission. For admission to Engineering programmes, Government of India vide Resolution has laid down a Three – Exam Schemes (JEE and AIEEE at the National Level and the State Level Engineering Entrance Examinations (SLEEE) for State Level Institutions). This takes care of varying admission standards in these programmes and helps in maintenance of professional standards. This year admissions in B.Tech. programs in the University are proposed through Central Counselling Board. | - |
| Master of Technology (Biotechnology) | - | The candidate should have passed B.Tech. or an equivalent degree in the allied branch of Engineering with a minimum of 55% marks from a recognized University or M.Sc. degree in a related branch with a minimum of 60% from a recognized University or MBBS/BDS/BVSc/B. Pharma Or Bachelor in physiotherapy /occupational therapy / Prosthetics & Orthotics of 4 years degree program with a minimum of 55% marks from a recognized university for Biomedical Engineering or MCA degree with a minimum of 60% marks for Computer Engineering. The selection will be based on as per the university norms. | - |
| B.Tech. + M. Tech. in Integrated Biotechnology | 5 | Intermediate/ Higher Secondary (10+2) from any approved Board with minimum 60 % marks in PCM / PCB. Admission in the Integrated M.Tech. program will be based on the academic merit of the 10+2 examination. JEE, AIEEE or any State Entrance Examination rank holders shall be given preference in admission. Girl candidates / Wards of Defence Persons/ Candidates from J&K and North East states shall be given an additional weightage of 5%. The candidate may be asked to appear for a personal interview. | - |
