Private University Estd. 1952 NIRF #1 (Medical) 2024Rajiv Gandhi Academy for Aviation Technology (RAGAAT) – Thiruvananthapuram is a government undertaking academy provides excellent training in various licensing programmes. Firstly the academy was commenced in 1959 with a name of kerala Flying club under the Indian Companies Act 1956. But in year 1980 the name was changed into Kerala Aviation Training Centre. Finally in the year 2006 academy gets its existing name Rajiv Gandhi Academy for Aviation Technology under the title Travancore Cochin Literary Scientific and Charitable Societies Act 1955. The objective of the RAGAAT is to impart instructions and provide practical training in the art of flying and gliding, and science of aeronautics, and concerned engineering, and all other matters directly or indirectly connected therewith.

The doozy ambience of the academy is perfect for aviation training. Academy is well kit out with spacious classrooms for interactive learning and a well stocked library. Apart from this RAGAAT has various kinds of aircrafts.

Library
RAGAAT has well stocked library with limited collection. The library of the academy is packed with various resources. Apart from this the library of the RAGAAT has two computers (one with internet facility) are available for use by the trainees.
