Principal K. M. Kundnani College of Pharmacy is affilaited to University of Mumbai and was established under the aegis of Hyderabad (Sind) National Collegiate Board, Mumbai. The college offers graduate, post-graduate and doctoral level courses in various fields of Pharmacy.

The library has acquired a valuable collection of more than 11,000 books valued at 5,887, 759. The library has a good collection of journals i.e. current as well as back volumes. The current journal subscription is about 50 including foreign and Indian journals. The bound volume collection is 6973 valuing 7463682. The book bank facility benefits about 36 undergraduate students every year.

One of the best colleges for pharmacy.

Campus is at Colaba connected equally to Church Gate and CST and has good frequency of buses. Library is very well stocked. Campus is not that good but its location is just amazing, exactly in the heart of the city. Jobs are guaranteed here. Faculty is greatly experienced and educated. Their standards of teaching are absolutely top notch. Academic curriculum here, includes industrial visits as well which make studies interesting and concepts easy to grasp.

Review on Prin. K. M. Kundnani College of Pharmacy

It is a well-established government-aided institution affiliated to the University of Mumbai. This year KMKCP was listed at the rank 29 in the NIRF organized by MHRD. We have 18 Faculty Members who hold a Ph. D and possess sound teaching methodology. The Faculty in KMKCP is easily approachable and the sessions are interactive. The graduation outcomes for both undergraduate and post-graduate course has been around 95 percent which reflects that quality education is being provided. The students have an excellent library with books written by renowned authors of great scientific caliber. From the research perspective, the track record for projects and publications is good. In past, KMKCP has received funding from government funding agencies such as DBT, ICMR, AICTE and DST. Recently, the institution received funding from DST under their FIST program owing to which the research labs now are equipped with additional high-tech instruments. Considering the growing importance of industry-academia interaction, KMKCP is actively involved in research with some industries. This is evident from the "gold" ranking in the "existing" category of pharmacy institutes conferred by AICTE-CII survey. Besides KMKCP has collaborations with some other research institutes also.Placement is the most important criteria for understanding the repute of an institution and KMKCP has a good placement record. It is rightly said that "all work and no play, makes Jack a dull boy" and this does not happen at KMKCP. There are girls and boys common rooms with facilities for indoor games. The students also are encouraged to participate in extracurricular activities which include competitions organized by DLLE, IPA and other colleges. KMKCP itself has two cells namely, CCPC (Clinical and Community Pharmacy Cell) and RCKMK (Rotaract Club of KMK), actively working on creating awareness about health and well-being as well as topics of social concern. This makes each student of KMKCP have an all-rounder personality with great self-confidence.
