OPJU School of Engineering is founded by the Jindal Education and Welfare Society. It was set up in 2008 to bring high quality education to its students based on a world class curriculum, the latest teaching methodology and committed faculty members. The multidisciplinary university aims to develop young professionals and future leaders who will not only power growth and development in the state, but also make a mark globally.

• Digital library of OPJU provides audio-visual and multimedia facility to its users. Users can search required information in a collection CDs, DVDs, and browse through thousands of journals and references online along with audio visual resources of the library.
• Sporting facilities include an indoor badminton court, volleyball courts, basketball courts, a running track, football and cricket ground.
