Placement
The cell continuously coordinates with the various industries and organizations for placement of the students. It liaises with the Corporate sectors and helps in developing the industry-academic inter-relationship. The Cell organizes certain orientation programmes, grooming sessions, mock interviews for students of each stream. Besides, the Cell organizes various summer internship programmes for students to provide them with hands-on experience and introducing them to match the professional environment. Keeping in view the requirements of industry, the Cell also takes initiative to arrange regular inter-active workshops, seminars and short-term courses with active participation of academia and industry.
Infrastructures
Conveniently located on the northern fringe of Kolkata, Narula Institute of Technolgy is less than one kilometer from Agarpara Railway Station and only a few minutes walk from Kamarhati bus stand on B.T. Road. It neighbour ISI and Rabindra Bharati University.
Classroom
The lecture halls in this Institute are spacious well-ventilated and armed with meticulously crafted furniture. They have state of the art facilities like overhead/slide projectors competing with international standards. Overall, the halls provide an ideal atmosphere for studies.
Laboratory
The computer labs are housed in spacious halls and are equipped with the latest Multimedia Pentium 4 processor-based systems to cater to the needs of each and every student. It comprises of nearly 300 (P4) computers with a wide range of software to cover the industrial requirements. The lab has LAN and Internet connections and is supported by UPS systems. The library is stocked with the latest books in Basic Sciences, Telecommunication, Computer Instrumentation, Computer Management and general knowledge by national and International authors.
