MVSR Engineering College is affiliated to OSMANIA UNIVERSITY. MVSR Engineering College i.e., Maturi Venkata Subba Rao Engineering College, was founded in 1981 with three disciplines. Over the years it has grown from strength to strength and is a Premier Technical Institute in Andhra Pradesh. The total student strength at present is over 2300.  There are 160 well-qualified faculty and 180 skilled supporting staff. After completing two decades of excellent service in Technical Education, the college has celebrated its Silver Jubilee year in February 2007.

Placement

The college Placement and Career Guidance Cell was established in the year 1997 with Mr. J. Prasanna Kumar, Head, CSE officiating as Placement Officer. The Cell was helpful in the placement of hundreds of students in many prestigious companies in the country. Mr. M.V. Srinvasa Rao, Asst.Prof., CED is the Asst. Placement & training Officer. Faculty members from each department are co-opted as members of the Placement Cell.

For those who want to get into this college please set a goal you will join into a software company or core govt sector. Because this college has a lot of placements in top it firms. And also who had passed from this college got top gate ranks even. Highlights of this college:- 1.Good placements. (500-600) 2.Staff 3.Well furnished labs. 4.Clean with trees. 5.outskirts. 6.Big ground for cricket..etc.

MVSR Engineering College is the best college

It is the coolest college you ever come across. You have freedom to choose what you need to do. It is an open gate system. Lecturers are well experienced. You are exposed to different fests conducted by students of many branches. The group here is a bit bigger compared to many colleges. College like in outskirts of city, hence no traffic jams.

The college has a good faculty who are more knowledgable and ready to help anytime. It is easy to reach the college. Transportation services are good. ( Duplicate) College is best for education and extra curricular activities as well. It's a very big campus of about 18 acres. It has different blocks for different branches. Teachers are student friendly and also help in developing a good career. Sports are also encouraged.

Good college for entertainment and enjoyment

The college has an open gate system, you can walk in and out at any time. It is located on the outskirts of the city near Balapur. The college looks simple but is spacious. The college is 35 years old. 70% os the students get placed in companies like Wipro, Cognizant, Infosys, Delloit, Accenture, etc. All the placements are for software students only.
