In keeping with the mission of the college, "To provide a unique learning experience which will enable the students to realize their innate potential and mould their overall personality" M.O.P Library strives to cater to the needs of its academic community to the best.

With a humble beginning of around 600 books in the year 1992, the Library can now boast of around 28,000 books in a span of 20 years. Ever since its inception, efforts have been put in by the management to develop the Library on the most modern lines.

The Library was also given the 'Best Library Award' by the Mylapore Academy in the year 1998.

Today 'digital' is the buzzword everywhere, but at a time when all leading city colleges were following traditional method of transactions, M.O.P library was a pioneer to automate all its collections and started all transactions through computer systems with barcode scanners and search terminals.

Housed in two floors, the Library has a huge air-conditioned fully furnished reading hall with Books, Non-book material, National and International journals with reprographic facility.

There is also a Digital Library unit with wi-fi enabled systems and 24 hours net connectivity.

The library takes all efforts to maximize the usage of its resources through various programmes involving the students like Book weeks and by encouraging them to utilize the resources to the maximum.

Classroom

All the Classrooms in M.O.P are not just a bench and desk affair but aim at giving the students a relaxed environment to realize their dreams. Apart from the usual paraphernalia, the classrooms are provided with a television which enables the broadcast of subject related programmes that the students would benefit from.

Laboratory

The college is well equipped with Hi-tech Laboratories for subjects such as Chemistry, Biochemistry, Nutrition, Physiology and Microbiology.

Library

The Library comprises of three floors well stocked with reading material. The Library has a total collection of 23,500 books and provides access to more than 100 journals. Library is fully automated to meet the academic needs with computerised cataloguing, automated circulation system with scanner facility and photocopying facility. Internet Browsing centre with continuous internet connectivity forms part of the Library.

It's a good college with a lot of facilities provided to the faculty and students. Students are given opportunities to show the skills and talents to the fullest. The college does not only concentrates on academic but even in social and cultural activities.

REJECTED : REPETITIVE USER. It's a good college. But does not provide enough space. Faculty is amazing. They provide really good food. They are also good at sanitation and cleaning. Timings are great. Sometimes too strict about the dress code. And some students have to climb up and down many times a day.

The college is located right in the heart of Nungambakkam. There are a lot of restaurants, hotels and parks near the college. Good location. Easy access to public transport. Usual traffic is there. Small campus. No hostels. Library is good. Canteen serves good food, but the variety is less. Students are local, there are no students from other states. Extracurricular activities are not encouraged. Good number of students get placed in good companies. Teaching methods are old-fashioned, no innovation. Some of the faculties are knowledgeable, while some of them are not up to the mark.
