Placement
The training and placement cell is headed by experienced faculty with good industry linkages. In KIHM &CT we place great importance on training & placements of the students in a live environment to give them customer centric focus. It is mandatory for students to undergo six months of Industrial training which is duly arrange by the Institute in verious star graded properties. The students are fully assisted in getting their jobs before the completion of the course. The institute has already achived a record placement mark by placing 90% of the students on job through 22 campuses. Proffesionals from verious properties like Oberio, Taj, Hyatt, Le Meirdian, The Grand, Park Plaza, Ieasta, etc. have visited the institute for campus Placements.
Infrastructures
The institute has all modern types of infrastructure facilities to impart high quality theoretical and practical training. The institute Library is well equipped with textbooks, reference books and varieties of skill oriented training aids. Cool, spacious, comfortable classrooms are equipped with audio-visual aids like an OHP and LCD Projector.
Laboratory
An advanced air-conditioned Computer lab with Internet access and latest softwares being used in the hospitality sector are available. Computers with a ratio of 1:2, Laser Printers, Internet access, Multimedia and selected Softwares, plus e-mail facility, this is where projects are fine-tuned.
Library
Over 5,000 books are present in the library on all subjects, including latest journals and national and international magazines on Hospitality and Tourism Management. The general reading section includes sports, history, fine arts, politics etc. A photocopy machine placed in the Library adds to the convenience of the students.
