Private University Estd. 1952 NIRF #1 (Medical) 2024Jyoti Nivas College is a minority Christian College founded by the Sisters of St. Joseph of Tarbes. It is affiliated to the Bangalore University. Since its inception in 1966, Jyoti Nivas College has remained steadfast to one central commitment, to provide a balanced comprehensive education in the liberal Arts, Science and Commerce, aimed at turning out intellectually enlightened, morally upright, spiritually oriented and socially committed young persons.

Placement
Jyoti Nivas College is one of the pioneering institutions that provides career guidance and placement facilities to the undergraduate and postgraduate students. The office is dedicated to help the students assess their career interest, aptitude and provides them with an opportunity to meet and attend interviews by some of the prestigious firms in the city.
Infrastructures
The campus of the college is sprawled in an area of 38786.60 square metres. The well designed campus comprises administrative block, degree block, post graduate block, pre university block and a research centre. The administrative block of the campus consists office of the principal, office manager, reception, accounts office, examination cell, AV room, studio, IGNOU centre, and documentation room and computer labs. The well equipped Degree block include office, IQAC office, various departments for Faculty, Labs for Science Departments, conference halls, counselling centre, Union Room, Adventure Club, NCC / NSS Room and class rooms.
Classroom
Jyoti Nivas College (JNC) provides well furnished and trendy classrooms. All classrooms provides a special learning environment, a touch screen white board is integrated with the LCD projector and a computer.
Laboratory
College has computer lab for the students and labs for the various experiments. The computer lab of the college is well kit out with latest software’s, windows, scanner etc. The labs of the college assist students in their practicals, projects and assignments. Computer lab of the college is well connected with internet facility which helps students in searching information related to their programmes.
Library
The college library offers students a wide range of books, magazines and journals on English Literature, computers and other subjects. These volumes The library of the college was incepted in the year 2000 for providing knowledge. The library is divided into basement and four separate floors.
