Private University Estd. 1952 NIRF #1 (Medical) 2024Jagadguru Tontadarya College was established by Karnatak Lingayat Education Society, Belgaum in 1958 and it is affiliated to Karnatak University, Dharwad. College is accredited with B++ Grade by National Assessment and Accreditation Council (NAAC). The college offers Bachelor of Science, Bachelor of Arts, Bachelor of Commerce, Bachelor of Computer Applications and Bachelor of Business Administration.

There is a seperate cabin which houses 5 computers connected with dail up network for internet facility. The Practical for B.Com. classes & training in computers for Arts.
Library
The Library with rich & varied collection of 52,00 books on its shelves is a variable "Treasure House" for the scholars, teachers and the students. Constant updating of the books is done in tune with the changing needs. Library is provided with internet and Zerox facilities. A special Provision is made to help poor, deserving, SC\ST and Meritorious students by lending a set of books for the entire year.
