Placement
IFMR had a successful record in placements, be it Summer Internships or Final Placements. The internship scenario at the campus saw the inclusion of some big names in the field like JP Morgan, Vedanta, Frost & Sullivan etc. which not only motivated the students to perform well but also added an additional touch of excellence to the academic sheen which IFMR possesses. A special committee consisting of faculty members and the management was also formed to help the students throughout the internship to ensure that IFMR puts its best foot forward at work.
Infrastructures
IFMR has state of the art facilities for students and faculty in a Wi-Fi campus with high bandwidth roadband connectivity. A recently opened, unique facility is a world class trading floor, set up in collaboration with NCDEX Institute of Commodity Markets and Research (NICR). IFMR has recently inaugurated a sprawling 40 acre campus in Sri City near Chennai. Located in a manufacturing hub comprising some of the world’s leading companies, the campus provides stu-dents and faculty with world class infrastructure and outstanding opportunities for collaboration with industry.Recognition:

Classrooms in IFMR are air-conditioned and equipped with audio-visual aids and internet connectivity.
Laboratory
Students and faculty have access to two labs with intranet and internet facility and computer-based management games.
Library
The fully air-conditioned library, spread over 4000 sq ft, has a vast, well-maintained stock of books, magazines, journals, project reports and CD-ROMs. The library is a repository for all World Bank, GATT and UN publications. It provides access to info-rich databases like EBSCO, JSTOR, Science Direct, E-Library, World and Global Development indicators online and Indiastat.com.
