Private University Estd. 1952 NIRF #1 (Medical) 2024Indian Institute of Fashion Technology, Established in the year 2001, has been imparting professional training to the students. It has now evolved into a state of art, ultra modern and premier, multi disciplinary Training Institute in the core areas of Fashion and Apparel Technology and Management. IIFT has established 5 Branches in the Districts of Karnataka, namely Belgaum, Bijapur,Chamrajnagar, Hassan and KGF with the support of Govt. of Karnataka. IIFT is also conducting short term courses at the campus of associated colleges. The colleges are Maharani Lakshmi Ammani college for women-Malleshwaram, NMKRV college for women-Jayanagar and Vidhya Vardhaka Sanga College, Basaveshwaranagar.
