The central computer lab is one of the major useful resource and pride of the students, teachers and staffs of IIIT – Banipur; at present it is well equipped with 60 desktop computers connected with WI-FI LAN. Among the line of servers the institute has RS 6000, IBM Netfinity 3000 to name a few. The lab is also equipped with a CISCO Router 26003 and a CISCO Catalyst 2950 Switch for leveraging the benefits of a 2 Mbps Leased line (1:1) connection from Tulip through FORTIGATE 100 A firewall.
