Private University Estd. 1952 NIRF #1 (Medical) 2024Guru Nanak Dev Engineering College, Bidar, a premier center of Technical Education, was established by the Prabandhak Committee, Gurudwara Sri Nanak Jhira Saheb, Bidar as per the Govt. of Karnataka. At present College is being managed by Sri Nanak Jhira Saheb Foundation (Trust).

The College Library is provided with spacious accommodation and other infrastructure. it is enriched by about 30000 volumes apart from 80 Indian Technical Journals and 18n Foreign Technical journals.A reading room is also provided in the Library in which all leading newspapers and magzines are available. Central reprographic facility is available in the library. In addition all department have their own Libraries.
