Government Polytechnic, Jammu has a full-fledged placement cell, which came into existence in the year 2002- 2003. The training and placement cell of the institute maintains a strong nexus with top organisations and invites them for the campus interviews. Apart from this, institute commenced an Industrial training committee for organising the industrial training / visits / Guest lectures for the students of various branches of the institution.
