Placement
The Training & Placement Cell of the Gokaraju Rangaraju Institute of Engineering and Technology (GRIET) plays an important role in fostering student career. The placement cell of the institute is well kit out latest amenities for the interviews. Various training programmes are organized to prepare students for the final placements. Placement cell strives hard for improving skills of their students and makes them competent for the various industries through programmes like personality development, interpersonal and communication skills, career planning and career mapping, group discussions and mock interview.
The Training & Placements Cell of GRIET :
(a) Imparts training in soft skills to the students from the first year class onwards to prepare them appropriately for careers in Industry
(b) Coordinates the Industry and the GRIETIANS for suitable training & placements.
Infrastructures
Institute provides ample opportunities for students to excel in their fields of study. GRIET provides world class infrastructure facilities for the students. Institute has central well – stocked library, a modern computer lab & laboratories, and Multimedia classrooms, sports facilities for students. All the rooms of hostel are capacious and well-furnished.
Classroom
Institute has well ventilated spacious classrooms, which are equipped with amenities like projector & audio-video. Every classrooms of the college has a green board or a black board with computer white board & a podium and a noticed board is also provided in every classroom.
Laboratory
Each lab is constructed with modern facilities. Each lab is equipped with demo experiments along with the university prescribed experiments. Our laboratories and teaching methods of mixing theory sessions with laboratory practice were appreciated by The All India Council for Technical Education(AICTE) inspection team. The deparment is having all the followinf fully equipped laboratories.
Library
The library clientele includes 200 teaching professionals, over 2500 UG students and 400 PG students pursuing their B.TECH, M.TECH,MBA and MCA covering about 15 disciplines . With increasing demand of information by users and growing needs of the library several services have been added to facilitate proper organization and to cater the needs of readers, At present the library is run by three qualified staff and four supporting staff.
