The college has been providing technological expertise to the industry and society. A curriculum aimed to meet the requirement of industry with a proper blend of upcomming trends, equips the students with required skills and work ethics enabling them to have smooth start to thier professional career. The College of Engineering is the only Govt. engineering college offering full time and part-time courses.The college is approved by All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE) and is funded by Govt. of Goa, presently affiliated to Goa University.

Internet Leased Lines of 2 MBPS bandwidth from Bharat Sanchar Nigam Limited (1 MBPS) and Tata Communication Limited (1 MBPS) caters to the Internet and Email facility for the College. All the Departments, Sections, Hostels and Residential Quarters of the college are networked through the Campus wide network with Fiber Optics as the backbone. Library

College has a provision of enormous and a vivid library.The entire building functions effectively and efficiently to prove itself as a means of huge knowledge bank.The entire library is divided superficially into many sections that work in coordination to serve the full college.All the books of all the engineering subjects are available in ample. Also all the story books and novels of noted authors are available for use.

Best engineering college in Goa

GEC gives you a platform to excel. The academic curriculum and the teaching-learning process here is of a good standard, with adequate infrastructure and the best faculty. Apart from academics, the college also organises technical and cultural events for the students to showcase their talent. It is the best engineering college among those affiliated to Goa University.

A good college in Goa for engineering

The student community is not very focussed on getting a degree and building a career so don't expect the best environment for learning. Mech engineering has the best faculty here. The placement record is terrible here for which the student mindset is to be blamed. The college doesn't help to develop you to be able to work in a professional environment. All in all, you'll have a good college life experience, but you'll have to work yourself of building up a profile and planning out your future career.

I feel that the college is quite good. It definitely is the best engineering college in Goa. Most of the teachers are very dedicated to work. The girls' hostel facilities are very good. The campus is very big and there are many shops and sit outs all over the place.

One of the best colleges in Goa under Goa University

Goa College of Engineering has a huge campus. There is a scope for improvement in infrastructure. Each department has its own building and labs. For Mechanical engineering, the college is good. The faculty may appear strict and may pick on you in class, but outside they are extremely helpful. The department is focused on the normal day to day activities and opposes a bit for participation in new events. The workshops held here are really good and the staff is extremely helpful and friendly.

This is the best Engineering college in Goa. The campus is very good. The college also organised many inter-collegiate events. Students participate in these competitions and it is a lot of fun. Overall, the college is top class.
