The Institute has a training & placement cell that is actively involved in building an interface between academia and corporate houses by organizing various seminars, pre-placement talks,work-shops,training programs, summer placements,etc. The Training and Placement Cell maintains a close liaison with the Industry and other employers in order to facilitate the placement of the students. It handles all aspect of campus placements for the students at GIMT. The The cell ensures that all our students get the opportunity to face campus interviews in good companies and take up jobs according to their preferences.

Laboratory

The laboratory and practical components of the syllabi, the Institute has 23 numbers of full fledged laboratories, equipped with the most modern equipment and instruments. The students get complete hands on experience in these laboratories to equip themselves with the requisite professional expertise. Library

The Central Library occupies total floor area of more than 500 sq. m. There is a spacious reading room to accommodate at least 150 persons for self-study. The functioning of the library is computerized. The library is equipped with on-line Journals for the benefit of the student and the faculty. The Library is stocked with an adequate number of latest edition text books. At present the Library has more than 11000 volumes of books.
