The Department of Commerce is the department of Banaras Hindu University. The Faculty of Commerce offers courses leading to B.Com. (Hons), M.Com. and Ph.D.degrees. Keeping in view the needs of the business, started a special course, Master of Finance and Control (M.F.C.) on self financing basis. These courses are run in the Faculty on the patern of co-education. The Faculty draws students for its different courses not only from different parts of the country, but also from other countries.

The Faculty is equipped with WiFi Technology. Internet is accessible from all the classrooms.

Laboratory

The Faculty has a state of the art computer lab with the latest available software. The lab consisting of 50 computers is available for use to the students in Class and non-class hours.

Library

The Faculty Library spread over 1100 sqm. is having seating capacity of 120 students. The Library is housing around 20000 volumes under more than 5000 titles. There are 100 journals of national and international being subscribed regularly. The Library also provides subject-wise press clippings in folders, statistical abstracts, and annual reports of a large number of Private and public sector companies, financial institutions, case studies, working papers, reprints, microfilms, education video f

Faculty of Commerce, Banaras Hindu University Review

Surrounding is clean and full of greenery. Refreshing atmosphere. Eco-friendly environment. Good transport facility. There are printing and book shops inside the campus. There are no hostels, pg's are located near the campus. 24/7 high speed WiFi facility. Classrooms, labs and library are well maintained. Fest is organised with full enthusiasm. About 85% of the students get placed in reputed companies with good salary packages. Faculties are very helpful and supportive. They are well educated and experienced. They use both traditional and modern teaching methods.

It is considered as the best campus in India. It is the largest residential university as well. Surrounding is clean. Supportive faculty. Good environment. The library has a treasure trove of excellent books on various facets of business and commerce. For facilitating the smooth stay of students, there are separate hostels for boys and girls.
