Placement
Employability & Placements are key focus area at Doon Business School. Extensive coverage of global trade parameters, informative workshops and best practices of industry ensure that students are well equipped to handle competitive pressures of global business and are ready to face the challenges of global corporate.
Over the past few years, total no. of offers made to the students of DBS has increased exponentially increasing the opportunities for students at DBS.
DBS has been able achieve more than 100% offers every year for its students by building strong corporate relationships and skill building efforts in its students. Interviews in more than 70 corporates were arranged for the students for placement season of last year.
Infrastructures
Doon Business School (DBS) is placed in the northern part of India and the capital city of Uttarakhand Dehradhun, which is also known as Doon valley. The campus of the DBS is sprawled in an area of over 4 acres land. The campus of the college is surrounded by the Shivalik Mountains, which makes a spell bounding learning atmosphere for the students. The well architect building of the college comprises computer lab, Library, classroom etc. The campus of the college is fully connected to Wi-Fi facilities. Apart from this the campus of the college has cafeteria, amphitheatre, auditorium & conference room for the various activities, hostel and mess, transport, sports and medical facilities for its students.
Classroom
Spacious class rooms well equipped with LCD Projectors, whiteboards, wifi-enabled and PA systems make the class room learning an engaging and unique experience for all. A beginning has been made in the acquisition and stocking of video films on management in a small way. The Institute also subscribes to video magazines and regularly uses these to reinforce its classroom sessions.
Laboratory
DBS has a well kit out computer lab for its learner. The computer lab of the college is assists students in their projects and programmes and provides them practical learning. All the computers of the lab are Dual Core connected through the Local Area Network. The high speed internet connectivity provides an extended access to vast intellectual resources. The computer lab provides training on Internet and Web Management and assigned email id’s.
Library
The library of the DBS is a warehouse of knowledge, which is packed with collection of books, periodicals, national and international journals, magazines. The library of the college provides assistance to students and faculty in their projects & assignment. The library of the college also provides digital content for all programmes, which gives students a another resource for their learning.
