Disaster Mitigation Centre, Acharya Nagarjuna University was established in 1991 and approve by NAAC. The Disaster Mitigation centre is basically a research centre and the nature of work includes, extension and dissimulation of information on mitigation of natural calamities. It is intended to develop a documentation centre and act as a clearing house for dissemination of information on disasters, and undertake extension activity on a modest scale to improve public awareness in the realness of inter-disciplinary social science Knowledge.
