A society where students not just trained but they inject moral values and remove the clouds of dilemma from each student mind. The DA-IICT was incepted in Gandhinagar in 2001. It is the only advanced institute named after the Late Dhirubhai Ambani, the founder of Reliance Group. Institute was included as a private university in the list of universities maintained by the University Grants Commission on 30 November 2004. DA-IICT is also a member of the Association of Indian Universities (AIU). DA-IICT offers Undergraduate and postgraduate programs including Bachelor of Technology in Information and Communication Technology (B.Tech) and Postgraduate courses include M.Des, MS(IT), M.Tech(ICT), MS(IT-Agriculture), along with a Doctorate program. Apart from academics institute is renowned for its bewitching atmosphere. The campus of the institute is environment friendly surrounded by indigenous varieties of trees and other natural creatures. The objective of the institute is to impart an education which is scientific, advanced and hones student quantitative skills. Applicants from fields of Technology, Science, Humanities, Social Science, Applied Arts, and Performing Arts are eligible for this interdisciplinary program. Candidates must have minimum of 55% marks or CPI of 6.0/10.0 in the qualifying degree examination. Candidates for admission will be selected through an Entrance Test followed by Interviews. |

Placement
The placement cell at DA –IICT is well developed and managed by the faculty and industry expert. The placement cell maintains a strong nexus with industry and shapes its students according to industry demand. Placement cell organises various workshops, seminars and soft skill development programmes for its students and makes them master for the top leading industry.
Infrastructures
DA-IICT has a modern, eco-friendly, fully networked campus with optical fibre cable connectivity between buildings. It has state-of-the-art infrastructure, computing and communication resources, electronic access controls and a payment system through smart cards.
Classroom
The campus has three air-conditioned lecture theatres, two with a seating capacity of more than three hundred and one with a seating capacity of about two hundred and fifty, with modern audio and video presentation systems. The classrooms and tutorial rooms are equipped with audio-visual aids and have internet connectivity.
Laboratory
In the era of information technology, communication and network constitute the core of the information exchange. The laboratory building houses state-of-the-art teaching and research laboratories for electronics, communications, computers and networks. More than eight hundred computers are installed in these laboratories.
Library
The Resource Centre (RC) of the institute is a place for all library and information activities and services. It provides services to support teaching, learning, scholarship and research activities of the institute. The Resource Centre collection includes books, conference proceedings, reference books, CD-ROMs, VCDs, DVDs, video cassettes etc. and this collection is growing rapidly.
