The college's infrastructure is well equ  The college has excellent library facilities to support studies and research. The Library building, which is a large structure with a single central pillar, provides large unobstructed reading and referencing spaces. The first floor houses the Rukmini Damodaran Auditorium. The GRDCS Library is well stocked, well staffed and above all is constantly updated by additions. To meet the needs of teachers to keep abreast the developments and for research referencing, over 208 printed periodicals are subscribed to in the different fields of study and Online database (EBSCO) is available in the field of Management.The Library has developed a well balanced collection over the years in the areas of Computer Science, Management Science, Commerce and Business, Social Work, Bio Sciences, Communication and Languages along with a considerable number of general books. This well balanced collection of books, journals, magazines, back volumes of periodicals, projects / theses and non – conventional materials like Compact Discs (CDs) are supplemented by services like the Online Public Access Catalogue (OPAC). Besides, it has the supporting facility of Reprography.The present stock of books and texts is 34246. There is a CD collection, which is growing. The Library has computerized indexing and search functions. The Library functions on the open access basis, and works for extended hours on working days and is open on Sundays also. The Management, Computer Sciences and Commerce Departments have their own department libraries.In order to keep in tune with the times and also to improve efficiency and speed in its services, the library is fully automated with the implementation of Ins ProPlus, an Integrated Library Management System. Thus, the routine library activities like Circulation Transactions, Serial Control, Technical processing etc. are automated.Working Hours Main Library All working days from 9.00 am to 7.00 pm.Holidays (including Sunday) except public holiday from 9.00 am to 5.00 pm.Management, Commerce and Computer Science Libraries All working days from 9.00 am to 7.00 pm. (Sunday Holiday)Authorized Users.The library is primarily meant for the Students and Faculty of the GRDCS only.   For availing the membership privileges, every staff member shall register as a member of library by filling up an application form which is available in the library but student membership is created by the office while registering the admission of students, each student get a unique Roll Number and his/her ID card for library use.The library allows visitors including students, faculty and research scholars of other Institutions and research centers on prior permission from the GRDCS Principal. The prescribed form for the purpose is available at the libipped with all modern facilities.

All the classrooms are well furnished with all modern facilities.

Laboratory

All the essential laboratories have been set up and provided with modern and sophisticated equipments which meet not only the needs of the undergraduate and postgraduate laboratory course work but also the requirements of research and development.

Library
