The department have PG Lab for Practicals and Research laboratory with Crystal Growth & Characterization, X-ray Crystallography, Solar Cell, Ultrasonics, Non Linear Dynamics, Bio-materials, Non-Linear Optical materials and Nano Science and Technology facilities.
Library
Periyar University Library is functioning with 50020 volumes of books, 1982 back volumes, 1618 Ph.D. & M.Phil. Theses, 1355 CDs and 806 reports. The Library is subscribing 194 periodicals and 11 Newspapers.
