Department of Physical Education and Sports, University of Madras is approved by NAAC. The aim of department is to promote activities in the field of Sports and Games with excellent infrastructure facilities and also to provide a systematic and scientific training for the students of affiliated colleges. More than 17,000 (Seventeen Thousands) students get competitive experience from the zonal and Inter-zonal competition organized by the Madras University every year.
