The department has a well-stocked library. The collection of books in L.I.S. is to the tune of 20,000 and is kept in J.N.Library.The collection of 1500 bound volumes of periodicals in L.I.S. is kept in the Department. The current issues of 20 foreign and 11 Indian journals subscribed for the L.I.S.subject is in Periodical Section of the J.N. Library Online access to library science journals and LISA CDs also available. EBSCO database of full text articles is available for consultation.
