Department of Library & Information Science, Karnataka State Women's University was established to develop human resources in Library and Information Science at Certificate, Bachelor’s, Masters level to enable them to practice the profession at different levels including public library, academic library and corporate web enabled environment. To provide opportunities to develop research skills in LIS through doctoral program in LIS. Department is offering certificate course, master degree and doctoral degree programme in library and information science.
