The university's department is modern with all well equipped facilities.

Laboratory

College has well-equipped language laboratory with three other Language Departments up to the end of IX-Plan period. We have a 40-booth Language Laboratory and a Recording Studio of our own now, thanks to the funding sanctioned by the UGC in the X-Plan Period. They have a Computer Laboratory with 14 PCs for the exclusive use of the students since every member of the faculty has been provided with a separate PC in his own office chamber.

Library

Bhaikaka Library (ie University Library) has a collection of 30,000 books and 15 reputed journals on English language and literature. In addition to this, we have a collection called the Emerson Library (housed in the Bhaikaka Library) with nearly 3000 books gifted by USIS. Launched with 60 classical English texts and nearly 50 texts by the British Council and the British Library, Ahmedabad respectively donated to the Department, the Departmental Library has a good collection of 3000 texts, refe
