The Department of Animal Nutrition is established with the inception of College of Veterinary Science and Animal Husbandry under ‘Vanbandhu Kalyan Yojana’ to enhance the animal productivity with the locally available feed resources. The department is striving for excellence in teaching, research and extension activity apart from generation of technologies in the field of animal nutrition to benefit the livestock keepers at their doorstep for optimum health and production of livestock and pets.
