Department of Agro forestry was initially started as an undergraduate teaching department during 1992 as the Department of Agroforestry and Environment in the College of Agriculture, The M.Sc. programme was initiated in July 2007. Department of Agroforestry and Environment was renamed as the Department of Agro forestry and Organic Agriculture in 2009.
