Private University Estd. 1952 NIRF #1 (Medical) 2024College of Engineering Chengannur (CEC) is improving technical knowledge of students by imparting experimental learning for students. The engineering is placed in the Chengannur town, Alleppey in Kerala. In a small period of time college has made niche for itself. The college is managed by Institute of Human Resource Development (HRD) & approved by All India Council for technical Education (AICTE) and recognized by CUSAT. selected by Govt. of India, to benefit under the Technical Education Quality Improvement Programme (TEQIP) scheme launched by The World Bank. Apart from this college has a separate parent – teacher association, which provides assistance in improving infrastructure amenities and other essential requirements of the students.

Placement
The training & placement cell (TPC) of the college is managed by the staff-in-charge. The placement cell has responsibility of developing and providing relevant training to students. TPC prepares its learners for the interviews through group discussions, mock interviews, experts are also invited from the industry for the special training. Infrastructures
College is siuated in the land of spices Kerala in a picturesque atmosphere. The campus of the college is bewitching encircled with greenery, which makes learning conducive for the students. The well constructed building of the college equipped with amenities like classroom, library, labs, and dwelling facilities is also available for the students. Apart from these sports councelling cell and language lab are also available for students.
