A separate training and placement wing exists for outgoing students for placements and higher studies (in India and abroad), along with soft skills training and entrepreneur development training.

Infrastructures

The infrastructure of the college is conductive to impart academic training and industrial oriented program to develop students to work effectively in their areas at shop floor or in office as required.

Laboratory

The collage laboratories are spacious, well designed and equipped with the latest equipment available.

Library

The college library has a large collection of books relating to various branches of Engineering and Computer Science, Physical Sciences, English Language and Management. There is also a facility for students and staff to go through previous question papers made available in the Library whenever required. At present there are over 12,000 text and reference books in the library. The library subscribes to various national and international journals/periodicals for the use of both staff and students

Overall, the college is good and so is the faculty

The fess when compared to other colleges is high. The bus fees is also high. The faculty is good and the atmosphere of the college is also good. Sports activities are a little less. The campus placements are good. Good companies visit the campus for recruitment.

The college environment is good with providing high level professional faculties and give a top most MNC companies like Infosys, Tech Mahindra, Thermax, IBM, HTC and many more companies visiting in our college. Coming to cultural activities conducts feasts, annual day and freshers celebrations so it will give entertainment to all students.

CMR GROUP OF ENGINEERING

The college is extremely bad. The college lacks in many things. It needs to respect its teachers so that they can give more results through students. The college needs improvement in almost all areas. The college is going through a very bad time. The standards have drastically fallen and the placements are very poor.

The college needs to be improved

The college authority and faculty members are very strict regarding attendance, dressing and academics. The students get pressurized and annoyed by the teachers. Extracurricular activities are not given importance. Physical Education period is their in the class timetable but the teachers do not allow the students to play on the grounds. They rather make the students sit in the library/class. The placements for CSE and IT are good, but the placements for other branches are not good. The companies which visit the campus for placements are either software companies or BPOs. Moreover, the placement in-charge gives false information to the students regarding placements.
