BTL institute of Technology was established by the BTL Educational Trust for Rural Development. The institute is approved by the All India Counsel for Technical Education and the Govt. of Karnataka. It is affiliated to Visvesvaraya Technological University, Belgaum.

Bachelor of Technology (Electronics & Communication Engineering) 2 The candidate should have passed with at least 45% marks in Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics and computer science at 10+2 level from a recognized board. -
Bachelor of Technology (Information Science & Engineering) 2 The candidate should have passed with at least 45% marks in Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics and computer science at 10+2 level from a recognized board. -
Bachelor of Technology (Mechanical Engineering) 2 The candidate should have passed with at least 45% marks in Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics and computer science at 10+2 level from a recognized board. -
Bachelor of Technology (Electrical & Electronics Engineering) 2 The candidate should have passed with at least 45% marks in Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics and computer science at 10+2 level from a recognized board. -

Bachelor of Technology (Civil Engineering) - The candidate should have passed with at least 45% marks in Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics and computer science at 10+2 level from a recognized board. -

My learning days in engineering

The teaching faculties are good and are always supporting in every walk of our life and never once made us feel down about ourselves. They are always encouraging us in each and everything. The rules need to be a bit stricter. The college needs to provide placements, other than that everything in the college is good. The labs needs more equipments. The hostel food is not tasty. Less students participate in extracurricular activities.

College review

The placement training should be good and good companies should be called. The college is located on a National Highway, and there is a bus stop nearby. There is a hospital next to the college as well. The college building needs to be developed more. There should be classes to introduce students to new technologies and special programs. Average facilities are provided. The labs need good equipments and the library needs to be well-stocked. There are no extracurricular activities and students are not encouraged for it as well. There are no equipments for sports. The faculty members are experts in their fields and they are knowledgeable. Their way of teaching is easy and understandable.

About the college and about engineering

The college needs to improve internship and placement opportunities. And also in terms of infrastructure. Engineering is complicated. Despite of the hard work and effort the students put, corrections of the examination papers are done done just-fully.

Specific for PUC students only

The placements of the college need to be better. Some of the faculty members are excellent and this college is good PUC Diploma courses. The greenery around the campus is good. The infrastructure of the college needs improvements. The college is ragging free and the students are good. Physics lab is very good and the teaching techniques of the faculty are very good as well.
