BMS College of Engineering (BMSCE) was incepted in the year 1946. Late Sri B.M. Srinivasaiah was the founder of this college who was a great visionary and altruist. BMSCE is the first institution who had at first taken step towards establishment engineering education in India. The Institutions is situated in the centre of Bangalore, the garden city of India, which is very close to Central Railway station about 5 km. BMSCE has finished its 69 years of devoted service in the area of engineering education. In initially it offers only three undergraduate courses, but now institution is offering 13 Undergraduates and 16 Postgraduate courses both in traditional and latest demanding area. The fifteen department of the institution is known as research centre which offers Phd/M.Sc (Eng. by Research) degree in science, Engineering, Architecture and Management. The work of the college has been impressively based on outgrowth. The BMS College has been the grandest destination not only for those who belongs to state but also from all over the country. The College is accredited toΒ AICTE, New Delhi, affiliated to Visvasvaraiya Technological university (VTU), Belgaum, Karnataka, approved by Council of architecture ( COA), New Delhi, BMSCE is a AICTE recognized QIP centre in engineering and technology.
