Private University Estd. 1952 NIRF #1 (Medical) 2024Birla Institute of Technology (BIT) extension centre at Lalpur started initially with part-time postgraduate M.E. courses in the disciplines of Mechanical, Civil, Electrical and Electronics Engineering. The primary objective of the centre was the benefit of officers working in various Ranchi based Public Sector Undertakings, Private industries, Banks, etc. who wished to upgrade their educational qualifications.
