B.J. Medical College, (BJMC) Pune is one of the premier medical institutions in Maharashtra and India. The college, administered by the Government of Maharashtra, comprises various clinical and para/pre-clinical departments working alongside the Sassoon General Hospitals. B. J. Medical College was founded to replace erstwhile B. J. Medical School, with Shri B. G. Kher the head of the Bombay Government, laying the foundation stone, the school churning out licentiates, made way for the college training and training out full fledged medical graduate doctors.

BJ medical college is a good choice for MBBS

BJ is one of the best colleges in Maharashtra. Being centrally located, and close to the railway station, accessibility is not an issue. BJ has a perfect balance of curricular and extracurricular activities. Both are encouraged equally. Teachers, seniors and peers are all helpful.

The best Government college of India

The college has a great campus. Sports facilities and the ground is also very good. The badminton court is very good and the TT table is also good. Lecturers are very punctual, cooperative and knowledgeable. The cultural events are great. The campus is very neat and clean and location and weather is also good, the city Pune itself is an awesome place.

This college is the perfect mix of academics and cultural. You can enjoy MBBS best here nowhere else. The professors are very helpful. Sasoon is a general hospital and hence gets all variety of cases so we get larger practical base. Given it is one of oldest and initial colleges in India we enjoy the best of infrastructure and facilities in this college.
