Private University Estd. 1952 NIRF #1 (Medical) 2024Azim Premji University was set up in Karnataka by the Azim Premji University Act 2010 as a non-revenue driven University and is perceived by The University Grants Commission (UGC) under Section 22F. The beginnings of the University are in the learning and experience of 10 years of work in elementary education by the Azim Premji Foundation. The University was founded as one of the key responses to the constraints and challenges that the Foundation encountered both within and in the environment, and as part of a larger strategy to contribute to the Education and Development sectors in the country. Two key principles guide the process of the University’s evolution.

The college offers good infrastructural facilities to students that includes library, conference hall, wifi connectivity, sports facilities, etc.

All the classrooms are well furnished with all modern facilities.
Library
The Azim Premji University Library situated inside of the University principle building has an accumulation of more than 22,000 books and subscribes to more than 150 print and online diaries. The Library has more or less 8000 sft. of space with a perusing lobby, divider mounted stacking office and cutting edge IT base including Wi-fi.
