Asansol Engineering College

Ragging is the main problem in the campus. Teachers are not cooperative. Hostels are average. Food served in the hostel is not up to the mark. WiFi is provided but it does not work properly. Library do not have all the required books and study material. Labs are not updated with modern technology. Surrounding is under-developed and unclean. The campus is near to the hospital and mall. Extracurricular activities are not much encouraged. TCS is the only company which offers placements to the students. Teachers are not experienced and need to be more clear while teaching. Most of the students do not understand the concepts taught in the class. Overall the college is below expectations.

Below average placements and academics

The facilities offered and the infrastructure are good. But if you are in core departments, there is little hope for placements . CSE IT and ECE departments have a nice record in placements. Mechanical, civil and electrical are not eligible for most of the IT companies.

Awesome place for Engineering

I am in 2016-2020 batch and I can honestly say that all the teachers are very good and cooperative. From library to class, labs to lobby, everything is good. The infrastructure of the college is really good. The college needs some improvement when it comes to placement. Placement is fine but only IT companies visit to the college and give small packages of 3LPA.

Nice faculty, good placement and good infrastructure

Most of the faculty has a PhD and M.Tech from IITs. The college provides better placements. The infrastructure of the college is excellent and well-maintained. The campus is spread of 400 acres and is lush green. Also there is a bus stop for college. There are separate hostels for 1st years and also for boys and girls. Technical, cultural and civil fests are conducted. Most reputed companies visit the college for placements. The faculty is well-behaved and they provide extra classes if students need help.

Nice faculties, excellent placement, good infrastructure

All the faculties of college are very cooperative and friendly. many good companies like TCS, wipro, Microsoft, tech Mahindra etc come for placement each year. About 85% of the students of my branch got a job last year. In terms of infrastructure, you can find a nice playground, canteen, library etc.
